It would have been pretty well known that Mary was going to give birth to
the Son of God.
Many relatives and friends would have known of this. Word would have spread
around the community and his birth would have been eagerly anticipated.
The remarkable occurrence of the emergence of the Son of God into the world
of humans in a stable where there was not one cousin, aunt, uncle, sister,
brother or any kind of friend or relative present was a most odd occurrence.
The Son of God entering the human world - where not one person was present
or was in the slightest bit interested at all.
This very odd occurrence is once again for the intelligent as to whether or
no to believe this story - and as to how likely it would have been for such
an important person to enter the world in a stable where not one person was
present or was in the slightest bit interested and that his birth was a most
unremarkable and unnoticed event only witnessed by a few shepherds who were
forced to attend by some angels and three Kings who followed a star.
The three Kings - Balthazar, Caspar and Melchior were once again us. Three
Borg and these are some of the many games we play.
