Now, this is actually on-topic, but I don't think you stated it as
such. You stated it as though you are the authoritarian and I am to
be preached to. Ironic? It is indicataive of the whole situation.
In fact, there is no hard and fast line between atheist and theist,
any more than there is a hard and fast line between gay and straight.
As Freud and all students of human nature have observed, everyone is
bisexual, and it is only a matter of degrees. Some are in denial and
others know themselves. That is the only difference. Same with
atheist and theist. In many respects, I am an atheist. I feel free
to criticize and judge God, and if He does not meet up to my
standards, I reject Him. In this way, I have rejected the God of
Moses as no God at all, but a Devil. I worship Jesus and His God
precisely because they do NOT claim to be God. In fact, the teaching
of the Father is that "You are God." They are in reality just very
advanced human beings who have transcended what we usually regard as
human nature. So, in a very real sense, I am an atheist.
Now, you and most of your cohorts want to extend atheism to
naturalism. There we part company, but on philosophical rather than
religious grounds. We could go into that if you turn out to be
sincere, which is highly unlikely.
