It is only relatively recently with the advent of good education
without religion that man can truly enter a golden age of reason and
science. Superstition and religion used to be the only game in town,
but with man's mind and sexuality truly liberated and brought under
his own self-control
then we can enter a golden age. But the forces of superstition and
especially the agressive brainwashing of religion threaten this golden
age. Islam and fundamentalist Christianity threaten a new bloody war.
You can see it coming when Iran or terrorists start threatening the
oil supplies and the fundamentalist preachers in America calling for
war. The failure of reason does indeed threaten world peace.

Also, this would not be so much a failure of reason, as a failure to
maintain the peace. It is conceivable that war could be the rational
procedure, but then it would not be due to superstition...

In a sense there is a race. The race exist between the forces of free-
thinking and reason, and those of the dark superstition of which you
speak. The Judaeo-Christians are aligned against Islam the focus...

Science brings us a 'Golden Age of Reason'? Haven't you made a rather
one-sided look at things?

Go fishing.
I have not read the discussion at all: you might want not to go alone.
When will you guys learn that no war is religious, and that's just the
bullshit for the ignorant and enslaved masses (you are)? The very
masses who are gonna do it in first person, of course. And who are
gonna talk for centuries about Islam vs. Christianism vs. Whatever,
while on the higher floors the big guys take the piss out of both and
all parties?
Welcome to last 4 thousend years of history. And now, you can go
fishing.
