But then Huck loses the fundy vote. Someone researched the CDC web
site and found that red states and creationists carry the bulk -- no
pun intended -- of the obesity problem.
GOP better stick with their 9/11 cross dressing gay marriage
candidate.

I see the opposite in my neck of Ozark woods. The local bakery
specializes in organic sourdough, supports the local PBS TV, used its
facilities for a Green party promotion, and is owned by an old Hippy.
With other hippies, wiccans, and neopagans working there. Not a lard
butt in the bunch. Dont ever see them in the store either.
The Arkansas Ozarks have voted Republican, but not for Right wing
types. AR elected Huckabee, but the state house and senate stayed
Democrat. And outside the 3rd district, the other congressmen, both
senators, and the current gov are all Democrats. Huckabee sounds like
a fundy, but he didnt try to get any of the usual fundy policies
enacted. Which however is reasonable since with all the other Democrat
power in the state, that would not have gone anywhere.

Just another boom bust area like WV or Port Arthur, TX. It will be
the most blighted area in the country before Hillary leaves office.
