The difference between being sceptical and being a sceptic.

A sceptic is unwilling to acknowledge the evidence of his own eyes,
because what he is seeing does not comply with his past references.
The behaviour (in part) of the vice president of the Australian
sceptics has demonstrated this on national tv on the series "The One".

A good indication of their overall consciousness. If it cannot be
exlained, it must not exist.Wayne Dyer wrote a book illustrating his
own shift, the title being "You Will See It When You Believe It".

A variation on the same thread. There is a huge difference beteween
believing and being a believer

Being sceptical is a major trait in recognising the difference between
the baby and the bathwater.
Very unpopular position amongst the 'priestcraft'.
