In the case of Gallileo, G. gave lectures with his heliocentric ideas
ridiculing the ideas of many teachers of astronomy, making a lot of
enemies. Noone likes to be approached disrespectfully.

In the case of Ticho Brahe, wo made a compromise between heliocentric
movements of planets and geocentric movements of moon and sun: sometimes
compromises are made that function as an transitional stage.
