I recently read an article concerning the coming pole shift that I
wanted to share with you all, so I am going to paste it here. Read if
you wish:

There seem to be two schools of thought concerning the coming pole
shift .
The first of these is the belief that the Earth will actually tilt on
its axis, as stated in the readings of Edgar Cayce and numerous other
psychics. Rather like the skin of an orange sliding round the...

Such a shift was brilliantly depicted in the movie, Carl Sagan's
"Contact".
What was so insightful, was the way the writer 'kidded' everybody into
believing this was the result of world wide engineering feat. The
similarity being that many 'visionaries' have misinterpreted such
events as described in the above article, Cayce being one example.
That such experiences are a result of some cataclysmic event.
Dimensions dont change. It is the individual that 'shifts' from
dimension to dimension, in a state of consciousness.
Think of the 'psychedelic' experiences reported by drug takers.
"Picture Yourself On A Boat On A River With Tangerine Fields And
Marshmallow Skies"...I rest my Cayce :-)

anything psychic realities.

There's no reason to be upset Tim, I mearly put this here to discuss
it. And, sense you kept saying "These people don't have a clue!",
would you mind telling me what you're clue is?
BOfL:
I love the movie Contact! I haven't seen it in years, but I used to
watch it and become amazed by it... Great movie!
I know exactly what you mean when you say people experience these
things naturally, there have been times when I've felt like I was
completely lost in another world (but I was just in a dream state when
this occured). It's almost like when you're half asleep and half awake
you are more likely to have you're consiousness jump dimensions.
I wanted to ask you what you thought it might look like to someone who
was, oh lets say, "immune" sort of to this supposed shift. Imagine
that I am sitting on my couch when all of this begins, if my
girlfriend was immune to it, would it appear to her that I was in a
coma? Would there be any way she could communicate with me?

But there is a reason for him to be upset.
He chose to !

Sound so me, it may be worth a re look. If a book or movie has 'real'
substance, it will appeal also to the greater awareness that develops.
IN other words, you will see a lot more than you did.
Im sure you find that with your music also.

Upset? Who's upset? Not me, I read the article and laughed. My clue is that
within the hard sciences there are certain methodologies that are employed
so as come to conclusions about the nature and causes of things. Suggesting,
like the article does, that the accumulation of ice at the poles is going to
tip the world is shear nonsense. It is not scientific, it's someone talking
out of their arse.

But scientists patently reject the existence of any psychic realities.
Stumbling into someone who's hiding doesn't prove the finder is psychic.

So much for your psychic abilities. I read the article and laughed.

I thought the book was great, but the producers of the movie bastardized the
book and changed the story to suit american religious sensitivities.
