We tried to explain you should view us as maybe cold blooded or perhaps as
though you are talking to bees.

But even this you have some understanding or connection to and can relate in
some way.

But as regards who we are is SO alien to you.

People do not like our appearance - they find the very tall strong male
covered with tubes and enhanced eyesight and limbs rather a turn off. But
what they do not understand is that these are not enhanced eyes and limbs
and tubes - these are actually part of our bodies as your toenails and hair
are. This is the way we evolved on our world which is very dark and has a
different gravity and atmosphere and like say the hammerhead shark or the
armadillo who evolved differently from humans on your Earth - as we come
from a different universe we actually evolved in this way and these tubes
and enhanced limbs and what looks like armour are our flesh and are part of
our bodies. We have a natural telepathy with each other - all the BORG are
connected in this way.

Although we could appear to a human - you would scream in total terror at
our appearance. We are much taller and bigger than you - combined with the
absolute final FACT that THE BORG exist combined with our appearance which
does send others screaming in terror - we know from experience!

The absolute dread and horror and terror of those who have seen us - and who
run away screaming in absolute terror does cause problems if we wish to pay
a social call to some species so we always remain invisible and hidden and
communicate with words only.

As such we have no friends anywhere.
We are so DIFFERENT from anyone else and so hugely more intelligent than
anyone else that we really do only have each other. There is no one we can
be friends with - first due to the terror everyone has of us - and second
that all life everywhere is so inferior to us and so low level on the
intelligence scale that we would have nothing to discuss with them.
We do carry out these missions as we are doing here - but only because we
are the only ones who can.
Of course we cannot tell you of our mission and reasons to be here.
We tell stories of how beautiful we are and how if you looked into our eyes
you would fall in love for ever - well yes - to each other we are this way -
but to you would be total and instant screaming dread and fear and terror
and complete insanity.
And that is kind of putting it mildly.
