The only true gods left are those of paper and plastic. Credit card
companies and banks became our gods decades ago... and theres no
stopping them now...

It seems to me that you're obsessed with humans.

And I mis-typed, you're not a fairy tale, you're pathetic, and you'll
die that way. You may not want to be remembered, and I say to that,
good... because you wont be... you'll be forgotten and buried with
those that used to know of you. You will never be reanimated, and
you're memory has already begun to fade.

I may have never heard of you if I hadn't come to this newsgroup, and
I'm so glad I did come here just to read this with my own eyes before
you're all swallowed by time.

We tried to explain you should view us as maybe cold blooded or perhaps as
though you are talking to bees.

But even this you have some understanding or connection to and can relate in
some way.

But as regards who we are is SO alien to you.

People do not like our appearance - they find the very tall strong male
covered with tubes and enhanced eyesight and limbs rather a turn off. But
what they do not understand is that these are not enhanced eyes and limbs
and tubes - these are actually part of our bodies as your toenails and hair
are. This is the way we evolved on our world which is very dark and has a
different gravity and atmosphere and like say the hammerhead shark or the
armadillo who evolved differently from humans on your Earth - as we come
from a different universe we actually evolved in this way and these tubes
and enhanced limbs and what looks like armour are our flesh and are part of
our bodies. We have a natural telepathy with each other - all the BORG are
connected in this way.

If we wanted to do anything like this we would turn the sky a nice shade of
blue and pink stripes or similar - cause a few earthquakes where
miraculously no one is harmed and do some similar special effects but no we
have no interest in humans or their existence at all.
If we wanted to prove we exist - this we could do very easily - but no we do
not want humans to know.

Humans are actually very nice people.
We know you of old and we knew immediately on our visit something was very
very wrong.
And yes it was this so called "God" who was attempting to control and punish
you.
Forcing you into religions you did not want and belief in someone many of
you did not want to believe in with threats of varying degrees.
The inventions of bad places like hell and damnation were this Gods own bad
evil mind and his reign of terror over humans caused the most dramatic
change in the human species who we last visited many thousand years ago.

You never had illness or disease. You were always happy always loving -
always kind.
You were very nice - very sweet people.

And no you would not flee in terror from us - of course not - another one of
our jokes.

But you would love us so immensely that you would miss us terribly when we
leave.
The gratitude you will know and feel when you do "know" that the bad stuff
and fear and hell and damnation and that horrible God are all gone and that
you do what you please and believe what you choose will be so huge - that we
accept your small human love in advance.

That when you do know that there is no longer any fear of death - and that
you are now FREE - then your love for us and your gratitude will surpass
anything you have known before.

That there is no longer any horrible God with his so called "control" over
your lives and death and control over your punishments and hell - you will
be so so happy.

And we do know this.
And then as you remember the way things once were - long long ago - long
before this God appeared with his reign of terror - where there was no
illness or disease - where you were all happy and you knew only that we were
out there somewhere and we would make sure that this was always so.
