The 13th Cylon & Battlestar Galactica

Of course, don't you see? With all the association of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA
with religious imagery, 12 models of cylons, 12 worlds of the colonies, 12
tribes of Israel, 12 apostles, 12 gods of the Greek/Roman pantheon, etc.
yet, what's gone unsaid, unnoticed, unmentioned is the obvious:

THIRTEEN!

It makes sense, dramatically speaking, from a meta-story point of view.
Even
in-story, all the time and energy spent on hiding the "Final Five" cylons
are a diversion to hide the thirteenth cylon.

Like Judas or Loki, the 13th cylon would be a viewed as a betrayer. But a
traitor to whom? cylons? humans? both? or ... someone else?

Mark my words, there is a thirteenth cylon model--perhaps the original one.

Don't forget the 12 Lords of Kobol.

And Earth is the "thirteenth" colony.

I heard someone surmise that Hera and the Chief's kid will be Adam and
Eve. Everyone gets killed at the end...the Earth is the Earth of 15,000
years ago give or take and the two kids start the human race...

It has all happened before and it will happen again...

You've obviously never talked to anyone in the Israeli army or a girl
in the Air force.

As you telling me male pilots cover up for the mistakes of their
fellow female pilots? Gimme a break! Russian female snipers had
excellent combat records in WWII with kills in the hundreds....
