Another SIXTY MINUTES fascinating piece of info that I did not know
previously:
Hughes very well-funded (originally 5 billion USD) medical
foundation's scientists-researchers are encouraged to pursure their
iintellectual interests & ideas without the tax return level of
complexity of record keeping and the restrictive & narrow guidelines
that are apparently usually required by government and by private
fundings protocols.
Innovator/inventor/genius/test-pilot playboy Howard Hughes' greatest
achievements and break-throughs are apparently thus inadvertent,
because his plan was for the sham foundation to oversee his aircraft
holdings which were sold to General Motors a decade or two ago for 5
billion USD.
ALLEGEDLY: Hughes subsequently died intestate or w/o will after years
of paranoiac-obsessive behaviors.
