Once again, John, you take a silly difference of meaning within a
simple word and blow it all out of proportion.
To identify the difference between 4 and 2, we subtract one from the
other. BUt even this raises a confusion for the likes of you because,
althought, the absolute difference is 2, the answer could be 2 or -2
depending on the order that 4 and 2 are originally placed.

But you are missing the significance of your own words "telling the
difference" is an innate quality that we are all born with, thus it is
genetic. There is no problem and no contradiction.
You switch horse in midstream and pose a completely "different" (ho ho
ho) question. You are actually posing what would it be if red and
green were combined. This is worse that silly semantics, it is
childish nonsense..
