Doesn't "near death" mean the very same thing as "just short of being dead"?

Spoken like a true man who has not had the experience. Of course, I have had
chats with people who have had varying forms of nde's as well as obe's, and
they too placed the cause on firing neurons etc. And no doubt there is some
truth to this, but how much in all individual cases no one knows. Therefore
at this point, it's just conjecture about things people know not much about.

On the other hand there is nothing symbolic, or dreamy, or unreal about the
insides of a roof void as one passes thru it in full consciousness. I know.
And no one has the right to deny my own direct and repeatable experiences.

There is nothing anyone can say to the thousands of people who have
experienced the feeling of being squeezed out of there bodies as if they
were toothpaste in a tube.

But, you don't have to believe it either. People who know what it's like
really don't care what others might think of it, or them, yet understand and
accept your own point of view on this. And that is Truth . ;-)
