State of Denial On China's Growth Rate + Oil Depletion Rate

The reason Americans are in a state of denial concerning China's
growth rate is because China will double in size in 7 years, if not
faster surpassing the U. S. economy in size.

China will then claim as much of the world oil pie as the U. S.

Barring dramatic changes in economic policy, the rapidly shrinking
American slice of the petroleum pie will be almost completely consumed
by the rich who will be able to afford to maintain their current
lifestyles.

This means most Americans will be living -- this is not the Martha
Stewart meaning of the word "living" -- on a very tiny fraction of the
petroleum we are currently living.

There is no credible way to drill our way out of a humanitarian
disaster right here in the U. S.:

A combination of two solutions will help keep this from becoming too
barbaric:

1. tax fuel and rebate the money. This will encourage alternatives
and stop the price of oil from spiraling quite so fast.

2. tax the rich.

Well, they both have to be applied and more.
We need to invest in clean renewable energy and in more efficient
technologies and have to do it fast.

We are already on the edge of a irreversible ecologic disaster, if we are
not already over the edge but we didn't figured out yet. And here is where
the stupidity of the so called "free-market" is highlighted in all it
ugliness:

Oil/coal is cheaper that renewable energy because these energy resources are
subsidized from the future. Just think about.

The issue isn't how I define anything.

The "fast" part just ain't gonna happen.

Actually a good majority of Americans will be nearly carbon free in a
few short years.

They may also be dead or just about dead as well.
