# A "class" is a type of set, in which some common characteristic is
present.
A "set" can be any named group of things, just 'cos you say so, even if
otherwise having nothing in common.
Science uses classification in its taxonomy, and the whole of Biology
nowadays depends on the findings of Evolution for its classifying basis.
Only recently have birds been refined in origin, to come from dinosaurs,
rather than from reptiles in general.
A superficial classification is - cuttlefish, starfish, swordfish,
jellyfish, shellfish, crayfish - called "fish" because they live in the sea
(but only one is a true fish).
