The specific rule was that if a thread goes on long enough, sooner or
later Hitler and the Nazis get mentioned:

At sci.space.history, the law would have been that if the thread went on
long enough, sooner or later with width of railway track gauges or
Sperry Ball Turrets came up.
Oh, those were the glory days of the newsgroup.
sci.space.history could have been sperry.ballturret.history a few years
back. :-D
