Steven IS different, as am I.
His autism is "full blown", mine is a
touch (Asperger syndrome ).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspergers
My father and grandfather were similar.
I am a monster (at least my relatives think so).
What does that make Steven?

I don't understand you.
My understanding of me is that I came
"built" this way. Possibly I expect more,
but get less. Many "human" sentiments seem
vestigial, though only in my retirement do I
notice this. Coffee helps deal with the cobbly
regrets.

Individuals with AS appear to have particular weaknesses in areas of
nonliteral language that include humor, irony, and teasing. They usually
understand the cognitive basis of humor but may not enjoy it due to lack
of understanding of its intent..

You got your own definition of asperger's? This is consistent with a
lack of emotional response.
