If I am needlessly fearing WW III, distorting, mis-interpreting,
exaggerating, and being foolishly paranoid, then I sure as helle hope
so

I don't think you have anything to worry about a Russian-style nuclear
WW111. America is already practicing pushing the button against small
states like South Ossetia, so you know it'll be a good, clean,
righteous, American, nuclear war.

Well, we might not have to worry about a "Bush legacy" if this keeps
up. There won't be anyone around to write his legacy!

Considering that the decadent American oligarchy has no fig leaf exit,
they really might consider taking everyone with them.

Just call up public TV and have them put on a rousing rendition of
"Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company C" and we can relive the glory
days of WWII.

"Military glory, the greatest scourge of republics, far worse than
great generals, bad laws and excessive taxes combined."

a 'cold war' where war was fought in and against any foreign government
which did not take the side of "freedom" and US contracts.

More to the point, it seems to me, this poker game is bound to
have an influence on the coming elections. Russia, or whatever
other force lead to this conflict, seems to have played a card
for a particular mindset.
