This might still be one of those "Taboo" subjects. Didn't that CBS
reporter get fired because he said that the slavemasters "selected"
the biggest people from africa, not to mention the selection due to
the severe trip on the ships. Some say a speeded up cultural evolution
moving into the body/genes is how Europeans can digest milk lactose,
then there is the superior math abilities of Asians and what about how
Jews were ruthlessly selected and were forced to wander and trade for
thousands of years when trading was looked down on but now they have
these skills with money and business? All toboo subjects in our
current social environment.

E.O. Wilson thought it might take up to 2000 years to change
particular major traits of human nature. Scientists working with foxes
have changed them simply by selecting particular pup, in 50 years.
Interesting and contraversial subject bound to arouse us all as we
learn more about how all this works in the near future. So far the
consensus is that the difference is not enough to handicap any
individuals in any races from learning anything others can learn. Did
I say all that? Oh no, shame, it sounds so racist, but it ain't!

The Tame Silver Fox is the result of nearly 50 years of experiments in
the Soviet Union and Russia to domesticate the silver morph of the Red
Fox. Notably, the foxes not only become more tame, but more dog-like
as well: the new foxes lost their distinctive musky "fox smell",
became more friendly with humans, put their ears down (like dogs),
wagged their tails when happy and began to vocalize and bark like
domesticated dogs.

Scientists were interested by the topic of domestication, and how
wolves were able to become tame, like dogs. They saw some retention of
juvenile traits by adult dogs: both morphological ones such as skulls
that were unusually broad for their length, and behavioural ones such
as whining, barking and submissiveness.

Foxes bred for tameability in a 40-year experiment exhibit remarkable
transformations that suggest an interplay between behavioral genetics
and development.
