Scene three:
A dark 'satanic' sky, with fork lightening unleashing its fury, trying
to tear apart the very fabric of life, with the crack of thunder
sounding like the very earth was splittingto its core.
Out of the shadows comes an eagle of terrifying proportions, swooping
down towards the solitary soul, stranded on the top of the atol.
A warrior who is challenging the very forces of nature, screaming
"show yourself".
As the eagle gets closer, their eyes meet and the warrior has a sudden
sensation of flying. Not 'being one' with the eagle, but a sense of
togetherness pervades.
The warrior looks behind, to see the raging storm disappear into the
distant horizon and feels an overwhealming sense of calm penetrate his
very being.
"What was the point of that experience", asked the warror, now in
much becalmed state.
The eagle remained silent, but swooped in a huge semi circle, moving
back into the eye of the storm, and the warrior found himself back on
the atol with the lightening getting closer, with no visible means of
escape.
Later on that month, the eagle was interviewed for "Orthonology
Monthly" magazine in the 'mystic bird' section.
The readership have heard of the lonely warrior many times, and some
decided to ask the eagle the same question... 'why the experience'.
Spontaniously, the warrior was joined by many others, united in their
common need to ask.. The top of the atol became crowded, and more
uncomfortable, but their voices became as one. "Why the experiece".
The eagle just hovered, waiting for one who no longer needed to ask
the question.
