Reading Hannah Arendt In Caracas

Author: Robert Cohen
Date: Sep 1, 2007 09:21

An American biographer of Hannah Arendt visits Venezuela in June,
2007, and explains much of the confusing complexity of Chavezism
including some of the personality of Hugo himself

A semi-terrific description, "totalitarianism lite," stands-out to me
as my facile impression of some of her insights-impressions-thoughts

I perceive her article in THE NATION on-line would interest you almost
as much as it fascinates and confuses me
