This is not true, GB. As I said, visit the website and read about his
positions.

Personally, I'd like him to publish a paper on what Habeas Corpus
means to him and what he'd do to roll back the Patriot Act's assault
on the Bill of Rights and how he'd go about criminally prosecuting
Rumsfeld and Cheney and Halliburton, but what there is there is enough
for me to know he believes in more than just wanting to be President.

California Dems, most of us anyway, wanted Hillary (baggage and all)
because we know how well her husband did (even tho' the Repugs DID
try to impeach him for getting a blow job on the side) at helping the
middle during his terms. But Hillary lost the nomination. Why? Because
Obama turned out to be a better politician and won more delegates.

Now, DEMS who voted for him during the primaries are upset with him -
for being a politician. Geez, do they really think a non-politician
will ever run for President? They need to grow up, quit crying, read
position papers and support the Democratic presidential nominee.

If they can't do that then they deserve the more war and torture and
declining living standards they'll get from old-white-guy-John. And
with John will come the conservative court that'll roll back Roe and
return society to backalley abortions. With John will come the
continued delusions of "winning" in Iraq (three years AFTER Bush's
declaration of 'mission accomplished'). With John will come more
Gitmos and Abu Graibs and allies deserting our side.

With Obama, that all goes away. You say you can't see that he'll do
that which he's been talking about doing for the last year? Well,
believe what you will, I know I do. Personally, I think you're being
disingenuous. A wee bit blind too. But that's just me.

Well, I apologize to Jeanne then. Karla said she voted for Obama in
the primaries in this thread.
