I have been carrying a light for an aquaintance
(AND I STRESS an aquaintance ONLY) regards
a psychiatric assessment for being a so called
'nympho'

before I go on...can anyone give me an indication
of their fantasies regards this extraordinary assesment?
and can they give me any genetic research that would
support so an outageous waste of primal energies on
a such frequency and scales?

Trace the word nympho, from the Greek. There were then, as there are
now, women who devoted themselves to the Goddess, who used their
sexuality as surrogates of the Goddess to unite Her with Her sons.

It is a spiritual calling. They are devoted to the Goddess as a nun is
devoted to Jesus, only in the case of the Goddess, sex is sacred.

I'd like to hear what she says when you tell her this.

Another side of nympho was the secret sacred potions they used to create
an altered state of consciousness, and that, not scripture, provided the
spiritual insights and the closer look you refer to.

However, unlike recreational drugs, this was done at the sacred time, in
the sacred space, and dispensed in the sacred way. Not that different
from what witches and shamen still do in other cultures still today.

The hymns to Kali by 18th century Bengalese Saint Ramprasad show how
potions and sex were combined in Tantra. He says it produces union with
the Goddess, the Shakti being the surrogate. The Christians say the
bread and wine are transformed into the body and blood of Jesus, but I
dont think many men doubted they had sex with the Goddess.

As you can imagine, its a power trip for the women who can perform.
