APEC starts in Sydney this week. Great disruption to the community and 175
mil for the security.
25 world leaders getting together for a chat.
You think they would do it in secret, and then let us know what they have
agreed on, and donate a few of the security bucks to some of our ambulance
centers who have to close part of the day for lack of funding.
Ironocally, both items on the same news bulletin.

Hey Brian.
I'm in Australia now and have been for almost a year.
Where you at? Sydney?

What happens on the outside with the 'boors' mirrors what is done by
many spiritual people on the inside. Both groups like to make shows
of strength and deny fear. Both groups preach domination: on the
outside of 'bad' people: drug users, 'terrorists' 'those who hate us'
and on the inside 'bad' emotions like anger, fear, etc.

This seems to have moved from pragmatic to perspective.
Do you know who has the contract to build this?

No. But it's already built, and in place.
Oh, heard the Foriegn Minister on tv interview say that the reason this
event is being held in Sydney proper is because of the available
accomadation for participants, their security, and the news crews covering
the event. About 1500 journalists are supposed to be coming.

My god!

Let's say it isn't insane and these guys have a bit of brains and they are
well aware of the disruption and, what sounds like, massive expense this
is causing, what then could be the reason for this?
