No, this article is not NPOV. This is because it is not generally
accepted by either the educated public (viz., the members of the
public who can be expected to know Ayn Rand's name), nor is it
generally accepted among professional philosophers, that Ayn Rand is a
philosopher. The article starts with the assumption that she is and
deserves to be taken seriously as such. This is a minority opinion,
first of all amongst educated people, and *a fortiori* amongst
academic philosophers.
One useful test would be a modicum of international recognition.
William James is internationally recognized as a philosopher. So is
Willard van Orman Quine. Ayn Rand is not.
Even if we expand the census to include, beyond academic philosophers
and the educated public, the adult population of say the United
States, the predictable numbers of answers to the question, as to
whether Ayn Rand is a philosopher or not, she'd still receive a
minority opinion...especially if that opinion is weighted as to
education. Most people know her if at all as a novelist and not a
philosopher.

Philosophy is the discipline concerned with the questions of how one
should live (ethics); what sorts of things exist and what are their
essential natures (metaphysics); what counts as genuine knowledge
(epistemology); and what are the correct principles of reasoning
(logic).

All of which of course Ayn Rand dealt with, both in her novels and in
her non-fiction work.
Her essays for years, especially in ethics, have been included in many
philosophical textbooks.
In addition, The Ayn Rand Society, founded in 1987, is an affiliated
group with the American Philosophical Association, Eastern Division.
Its aim is to foster the scholarly study by philosophers of the
philosophical thought and writings of Ayn Rand. It has held meetings
every year in conjunction with the APA since 1988. A listing of its
programs can be found here:

This is only because Philosophy 101 teachers in bonehead cow colleges
have usually to deal with some female who's read Rand.

Uh, huh. Well, I think this pretty much reveals your real motives.
It's been clear for sometime that the left - or the detritus remnants
of it - is profoundly threatened by Ayn Rand. As they should be. Nail/
coffin.
It's total intellectual bankruptcy is amply on display here in your
gutter level smear campaign.

You should try it sometime, though I doubt you have any grasp of what
it is.
