Of God

One day they said of god that he was infinite
"Oh no" said god "I would rather be quite small thank you. And how would
the angels find me if I was infinite.?"
One day they said of god he was omniscient
"You mean know all things?" said god "I know some things yes - I would not
want to know how it feels to be selfish or nasty or mean or cruel - so I
know what I want thank you"
One day they said of god he was omnipresent
"Not likely" said god "how would the Angels ever find me - and then I may
find that one day I am out walking and would meet myself! And then what may
happen? I may fine myself so wonderful and kind and charming and love
myself so much that I would forget everyone else!"

So it was decided that god was quite small. Knew some things. And was only
the one person in the one place at one time.

If he controlls forever, and forever is indeed infinite, then he has to be
infinite.
Don't try to throw me into eternity without an eternity controller!
I would never arrive!

You can admire a thief for his cleverness, without actually admiring his
deeds.

Sure they would: they would find God everywhere they go.

Ah but you would also never leave.
The whole thing - or the entirety is finite.
There is no point being in places where there is nothing and no one is
there?

Dear Bork,

I like this. Here is my contribution to your nestled stanzas.

One day they said of God that he pulls all things in.

'Oh no' said God. 'But if that were the truth then I would dissipate
before I even begin the task.'

This is the nature of the information paradox. --B.T.
