O.J.Simpson may already be contemplating his next book project in the wake
of his arrest Sunday in Las Vegas. Simpson is alleged to have used
heavy-handed tactics to obtain sports memorabilia from a collection in a Las
Vegas hotel room.
Of course Simpson maintains he did no such thing. He simply arrived at the
collectors' room with a gaggle of tough guys in tow to discuss the possible
return of sports memorabilia he maintains was stolen from him. All on the
day before the court had ordered him to turn it over to the Goldman family,
a bizarre coincidence to be sure.
Simpson is apparently not worried by the fact that authorities reportedly
have audio tape of him doing a third-rate imitation of James Gandolfini's
"Sopranos" character - bursting into the hotel room with his buddies and
shouting, "Think you can steal my shit and sell it?" while some of his posse
allegedly brandished weapons.
Of course Simpson has already beat a murder rap, despite massive evidence
pointing to his guilt. Why should he be concerned about a little thing like
strong arm robbery?
And he has already written one book - "If I Did It," explaining how he might
have killed his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman, even though
he was not convicted of their murders. The book was ranked #2 on
