Number leftover's - do we need them?

Number leftover's, such as "3 divided by 2 is 1, remainder or leftover
1" are like discarded chicken bones: both define activities - Number,
and a meal, respectively. That is, Number, just like eating a meal, is
an activity and not an object.

The activities of Number creates objects we call numbers. Leftover
Number and Number, unlike numbers, are neither odd nor even. 'Leftover
number' also defines Number itself, AND the limits of its activity. The
ontological and semantic significance of 'odd' and 'even' is the
ungroundedness of any number in any other number. The ground of a number
is, rather, Number.

We can recast this formulation without recourse to the term 'activity',
and say that Number is the manifesting condition of numbers, and that
Leftover Number signifies the limits and nature of that manifesting
condition.

Depends on what is left over after dividing 3 by 2.
If it is sawdust, discard it.
If it is pie, keep it.

Yes.
If I have 3 pieces of pie, and there is two of us, there will be one
piece of pie leftover after we have eaten our bit of pie.

This extra piece of pie is a leftover and is dangerous because it is not
a meal but a starter of wars. Leftovers are never numbers you see.
