Next Step After Reducing Your Carbon Footprint?

OK, you got your electric bill down to $25.30 cents, cycle to work and
only eat vegetables grown in your locality.

What's next on the EC (envoronmentally correct) agenda?

Since global warming is irreversible the next step is to start
practicing to live like the Greenland ice sheet has _already_ melted
and outside temperatures are _already_ 10 degrees abover "normal."

Since all the estuaries on the planet have been destroyed your sea
food diet is now limited to catfish, carp and blue crabs.

You can eat all the spuds you want, however.

Any other suggestions? I'll try anything as long as it isn't too
unhealthy.

Yes! But be sure to drive around the parking lot for hours, lurking for a
space a foot closer to the door. Then when you get inside, use a free
powerscooter, take the elevators, and bring a tin cup.

... there's this ever so sensitive guy who hangs around our campus coffee
shop who constantly preaches (in a stage whisper) about "walking lightly on
the earth". Not so much ansymore; he stormed out of the place stomping his
feet after he said, "I am but passing through this life.", and I asked him
if he could favor us by hurrying through.

What about driving to the corner drug store to pick up a 2 oz bottle
of aspirin? Or to the super market for some thyme?

I was hoping for something like, "since cod populations will mushroom
then you can eat a lot of cod."

I think the idea of just "maintain" is what got us into this mess.
