New Enormous Agriculture Investing To Salve Rising Food Prices, But Then...

This is supposed to be "philosophy," not ideological advocacy per se.

This phenomenon has to do with precipitating ethanol and food
shortages.

Everything inter-relates .

At first glance, it looks like a good thing, I concede an incentive
$ystem work$ by increasing $upply.

So: Hooray for Capitalism

Meanwhile, the prices for potash & fertilizers go further up--aka
INFLATION.

The paradox, dilemma, catch 22's harsh reality:

What happens when there is that inevitable over-supply in 6 months or
year (or two or three) ?

The small farmers will suffer from low crop prices a la that
lprecursor ead-in to the U.S. Depression.

Meanwhile, people are now reportedly hungry and rioting in India on tv
news footage.

This has been a dismal Marx v Friedman philosophy/economics lesson

And, explain to students: That's why FDR ordered the Depression Era
farmers to plow it under.

Some Dutch company & Air France claiming they'll be flying on $3/
gallon algae oil by the end of the year.

Looks boom times out here in the desert. I might be good for a few
acres . . .

Grow the algae in the desert or oceans

End of discussion.

K-U-D-Z-U and any/all other now non-valuable common weeds (plants) are
where ingredients for needed
fuels oughta be derived, not human and animal feed stocks.

Easier preached by this semi insane poster than accomplished here in
the real world of dogs eating dogs, monopolistic patents often with
interminable legalistic disputations, and of course greedy, shameless
self-interests.
