One of my favorite all time lines in pop music, was Siman and
Garfunkles line " a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the
rest" I would alter that to "what he's capable of hearing', but poetry
was never one of my strong points..-)

Remember the information from What The Bleep Do We Know regarding the
inability for the indiginous population to see the first fleet when it
appeared of the horizon.
The Harvard neurologists have now validated at least the physiology of
that.
The development of the individual consciousness is a 'trickle'
process. I look back and am grateful that the experiences I have had

LOL. I developed that view from 19 onwards. Forty years later, I have
realized that a brown nose is useful. aferall. Stops the sun burning
it when running along isolated beaches in Aus :-)
