Actually Obama and his supporters never really think about the plans
of the eternal jihaders.
The first question is, should they?
After all, the neocons certainly look vanquished. They went up
against two of the biggest forces in the American esprit general, the
American love of a good economy and the American loathing of eternal
jihad, and very predictably, they lost.
Right now it looks to some like they even managed to bring down a
major political party!
Even if you believe the more plausible explanation, that the GOP was
walking dead back in 2000 from the one two punch of the internet and
the high tax Clinton economic boom, then the best that can be said for
the neocons is they only managed to hijack a sinking ship. That's
_why_ they managed to hijack it.
Either way it seems American history provides no example of bigger
political losers.
