exodus from Islam. In recent years, millions have moved on. With this
high-profile action, Pope Benedict demonstratively blesses this

Companions Lighthouse for the Science of Islamic Law in Libya,
explains the decline:

Yeah, right. Just like the millions of Jews who have "converted to
Christianity." I would guess that Islam is probably the fastest growing
religion in the world.

So why has Islam recently surpassed Roman Catholicism as the world's
largest religion?

The in-vector of procreation > the out-vector of conversion to
Catholicism. Seems to be a work of God, ushering those souls into
Muslim wombs, rather than Jewish or Christian wombs.

More like conversion by the womb. The vast majority of Muslims live
in third-world countries like Indonesia, India, and Pakistan, where
the illiterate peasants are still dumb enough to believe religious
supestitions and even too dumb to practice birth control.

The pope would do well to return to the original Roman office of the
Pontiff Maximus, who was not an autocrat, but a mediator among the
various cults. For one thing, to make sure that their parades did not
run into each other. The pagan popes had no dogmatic positions, but
instead met with the leaders of various religions trying to help them
all just get along.
Catholocism does well in America because Catholics ignore dogma, but
value the ritual and tradition.
The uncontrolled breeding by the Christian, Muslim, and Hindu traditions
is very likely to backfire now that food is becoming an issue. Unless
oil prices decline, which would permit agribusiness to low its prices,
food riots will become more wide spread, and those religions which tried
to increase their numbers so as to increase their power in democratic
systems with "one man/one vote".. will be discredited as famine- and no
doubt pandemic- spread among the poor ignorant masses.
