Oh yes, he's got an agenda
Michael Moore's new film about the US healthcare system must be seen
in Europe as well as the US
Agnès Poirier

The Guardian
The big guy with a baseball cap knows his stuff. He has a point to
make and he makes it efficiently and amusingly. In the past his
targets were General Motors ruining Flint, Michigan; the gun lobby as
the culprit for America's crime culture; the lies behind the Iraq war.
He's back with a vengeance with Sicko, premiered at the Cannes film
festival on Saturday. His question: what has happened to the idea of
universal healthcare in the United States?

They (we) wouldn't actually: the two major parties are pretty much
agreed on dismembering the NHS. Whatever its benefits, and it has
many, it is turning into a disastrous mess through the introduction of
private sector `management' and the Private Finance Initiative.

If you have plenty of money, the private system in the US is better, as
you can get whatever you need immediately. If you don't have money, the
UK system sucks, but in the USA you die.
