The futility of bigotry
There was a good CRE advert several years ago, which showed three
human brains, labeled "European", "Asian" and "African" along with a
monkey's brain labeled "racist". In my own personal experience, about
as true as you can get. Have I ever met an intelligent black person?
Yes. Have I ever met an intelligent racist? No.
Personally when I look in the mirror, I believe what I see is no more
a true image of "me" than when I play Lara Croft in tomb raider. My
own experiment with "multi-user dungeons" confirm this- when playing
such games you effectively cut out the "middle man" and your spirit
directly controls your onscreen character. Even when having virtual-
reality sex, few people catch on, or even care, that the person behind
the keyboard is very different in terms of race or sex than the person
on the screen. I believe I chose to be born in the three dimentional
world looking the way I did, with the talents and disabilities that I
have, in the era that I was, and for a bit of fun chose to have my
memory temporarily wiped, as not to "spoil the movie".

That isn't capitalism, That's 'free market' consumerism.
