Reincarnation to me is not something mythical.
You can describe it as re-experiencing.

Of course it's so much easier to re-experience something that is a
common experience. So mediocre people will re-experience events from
mediocre people.

In some cases someone re-experiences events from not so ordinary people.
It is however very unlikely to experience something from people that
were not succesfull in reproducing their life- or thoughtpatterns.

That is also the reason why mistakes are made again and again and
humanity as a whole does not seem to learn. It's not possible to
re-experience mistakes, because people that make (fatal) mistakes don't
reproduce.
A re-experience gives insight in the possibilities one has. When it is
not possible to re-experience the possibility exists that one makes the
same mistakes as people did in the past.

But again reincarnation is more likely for mediocre people.

In certain cultures the task is to stop reincarnation. So the task is to
be less ordinary (lesser re-experience possible) but also it seems that
the task is to be unsuccesfull, so not reproducing thought- or
lifepatterns, because then re-experience is impossible.

Life, reproducing, continues. Even choosing to be unsuccesfull is
repetetive.

How many times have we done the circle?
