Leaked Red Cross report sets up Bush team for
international war-crimes trial
by Nat Hentoff August 28th, 2007
http://www.villagevoice.com/news/0735,hentoff,77643,6.html
If and when there's the equivalent of an international
Nuremberg trial for the American perpetrators of
crimes against humanity in Guantanamo, Iraq,
Afghanistan, and the CIA's secret prisons, there will
be mounds of evidence available from documented
international reports by human-rights organizations,
including an arm of the European parliament--as well
as such deeply footnoted books as Stephen Grey's Ghost
Plane: The True Story of the CIA Torture Program (St.
Martin's Press) and Charlie Savage's just-published
Takeover: The Return of the Imperial Presidency and
the Subversion of American Democracy (Little, Brown).

If there is all of this "so called" evidence of war crimes that can be
tied to President Bush, how come his enemies in the DNC don't use it
against him. Is their anyone who wants to bring down the president
more then Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid? Are you saying that his
political rivals are colluding with the President to prevent the
"truth" from coming out?
Or is it more likely that America haters (both foreign and domestic)
are lying? Making up stories? Spinning fairy tails of what they want
the truth to be.

The Democratic Party, at least as it is presently
constituted, cannot charge Bush and company with
war crimes because they are complicit in most of
the crimes. Indeed, Bill Clinton supposedly caused
the death of more Iraqis than George W. Bush and
his father combined.

"unnecessary and unprovoked war"
I thought you had something juicier to go on then that.
So yours is merely a subjective argument that the current war on
terrorism is unnecessary and unprovoked. It is interesting that I
have yet to hear someone of your ilk suggest that those who started
this war be subject to a war tribunal. But then I guess we know which
side you are supporting don't we.
I admit my original comment was stated with intent. I fully expected
someone to claim "it is all a conspiracy". Most folks are smart
enough to realize that the black copter crowd are nuts and I just
wanted to clarify that opinion.

"Unnecessary and unprovoked war" was sufficiently
concrete and objective to hang a number of Nazis.

What part of "juicier" do you _not_ understand?
Rightards don't want to hear about anything "concrete and objective."
Rightards want to hear something _juicy_ like, well, an anti-gay GOP
senator getting arrested for trying to get a blow job from a male cop
in an airport men's room.
Clearly, you never graduated from the Karl Rove school of PR!

around like Pillsbury the doughboy.
