Knowledge has no power without action. Ignorance in action has power.
Knowledge alone yields nothing without act.
It is Action or Process that is power not knowledge.

But to perform any action, don't you think some knowledge is needed
even if that knowledge turns out to be wrong
knowledge? And depending on the result of action, we come to know
that we had all the right knowledge
needed to perform the action at that time or not?
enjoy

Can't agree here. Knowledge is power. Action is applied power, for want of a
better way to put it.
Power is power whether applied or not. iow potential power is still power.

Knowledge needs intelligence to utilize it or else all you've got is a
Jeopardy! episode.

Information is not knowledge and knowledge is not wisdom and wisdom is
not power. Power exists within the discourse of the masses, which have
little information and none of the virtues of knowledge or wisdom. The
mass is just one big shitpile of willful ignorance.

That's right. You combine a bunch of stupid things you just get a big
stupid thing.

Agree up to a point. Action is perpetual in life. With or without
Knowledge. Hearts were beating long before the knowledge of hearts.
We are talking about a human attribute to action, knowledge, which can be
a guide, as you say.
However the ability to act, right or wrong, is not action itself.
Power is kinetic. It moves. So unspent ability or knowledge is not power.

Here's the main point of contention and very well put, I might add.

Potential is something not yet realized or applied, as you put it. Power
is realized only after being derived from potential. It is in the
discharge not in the ability to discharge.
so, "having the power" to do something is not power. The 'Having' becomes
power only after the doing.
