Philadelphia, who discussed the significance of water
being discovered on Mars.

obnoxious answer -- is what ruffled my feathers.

Asked what he thought of Dr. Edgar Mitchell, former
NASA astronaut, who revealed that extraterrestrials
have been visiting earth for many decades but it has
been the subject of a monumental cover-up by U.S.
and other governments/ Pitts made Mitchell out to be
senile, a freakin' idiot, a lier. ahallucinator or all four..

In other words, Hero's need no evidence, and asking for evidence from a

He was merely stating that Mitchell is no more qualified that most
people when the subject matter is outside his area of expertise. Being
an astronaut doesn't make one an expert in UFOs. Appeals to authority
don't withstand criticism very well. Also, your later comments regarding
him as a hero do not further his credibility in matters outside his area
of expertise.
If Mitchell jumped off a bridge, would you follow?
