Yes that is an interesting analogy. It does seem to me that there are
two different persons, or perhaps a split personality, in the Torah
using the same name: JHVH EL, translated as LORD God. Another good
example is Superman. The old George Reeves stuff was pretty hokey,
but it got better with Christopher Reeves, and it is now deeply
inspiring with Tom Welling, who is truly an angelic character for whom
I feel great love. The Return of Superman was also good. I am as
much into the Superman myth, btw, as I am into religion of any other
kind. In Smallville, the Bizarro character was an imposter of Clark
from the Phantom Zone, and that is exactly how I see the false JHVH EL
of the Old Testament.
