That is not the message of the Bible. The message is that a true God,
EL, created the world (Genesis 1). A false LORD, JHVH, then qualified
the pure light with the darkness of His hatred of mankind (Genesis
11). Finally, a synthesis of the true and the false emerged as JHVH
EL or LORD God (Genesis 2 and 3). This synthesis of the true and the
false then played out His game concerning the tree of the knowledge of
good and evil and the tree of life. Jesus was the Serpent in the
Garden of Eden. He opposed the essentially false JHVH EL from the
beginning. Knowledge of good is essential, because it alone leads to
the knowledge of the true G-D, who is Jehoshua Moshiach. Knowedge of
evil is also necessary, because evil is necessary for relative
existence, i.e. survival and subsistence. The tree of knowledge of
good and evil pertains to the three higher heavens, 5,6, and 7. Jews
are limited to the three lower heavens, 1, 2, and 3. Jesus tried to
free all men. JHVH EL then cursed them and tried to prevent them from
anchoring their spirituality in the real world, by eating from the
tree of life. Jesus came to bring mankind the very life that JHVH EL
denied it. "I am come that they might have life and have it more
abundantly."
