Alot of the foolishness on this newsgroup can be parried once and for
all by simply getting your minds out of the gutter and realizing that
Jesus, whatever else He may be, is an Ascended Master. That means (1)
that Jesus ascended, which is recorded in the Bible (actually He
ascended twice, once into heaven right after the Resurrection and once
again after 40 days, when He ascended above the heights of the
clouds); and (2) that Jesus is a Master. "Ye call me Master and Lord:
and ye say well; for so I am." (John 13:13)
What this means is that Jesus, even while incarnate, was the Master of
all phenomena in this universe. He could appear or disappear at will,
walk on water, or do any miracle whatsoever that He desired to do. If
He wanted to go without eating and pooping (Mark T.'s obsession), He
could easily do that. He was not bound in any way by nature's laws,
for He was the Master of them all.

Your version of God didnt create mind to live in the gutter. Thats your bad
judgment...Yet another case of discriminating reading..ignoring the "judge
not" bit.
That "master of all" also was quoted in Mathew, as telling his followers,
they could go and do even greater things that "I"..
That confirms the "living proof" available to those with "ears to hear".
Spirituality is about discovering your own divinity and authentic nature,
not studying history, or others experiences, masters included, which is why
genuine ones just point the way how to discover 'self'.
It is is living reality. Books only contain shadows of second hand versions
from past and different languages, and is why, not only followes of
different 'books' can get antagonistic to each other, but even those from
the same 'read'.
Then why am I writing this. To convince you of my experiences.? No.
Ill leave you to work that out.

which one? you're not refering to apz, which makes my point that it is
just an inappropriate cross-post.

Actually, I think what I said does apply to apz. It is a fact that
your mind is in the gutter. Why? Because you have not set your mind
upon the goal, which is to become a true Master, whether it be a Zen
Master or an Ascended Master. Jesus provided a good example of one,
perhaps the only such example we have had in public in recorded
history.

Not if you read Eastern History. The Silk Road towns, from Jade Gate
west all the way to Astrakhan in the Volga delta, existed beyond the
hegemony of the Chinese, Persian, Roman, and Byzantine empires. Thus
religions had to compete without the support of central authority. And
when that happened, Christianity and Jesus, remained a niche market.
Kucha, the pre-eminent city on the Eastern end, had the shrines for 22
religions, and a college town atmosphere where they translated
Buddhist, Taoist, Confucian, Tibetan, Zoroastrian, and other sacred
texts among 20 languages. There were a small number of Nestorian
Christians, but basically, Biblical scripture could not stand up to
the competition.

No, he is not, but Superman may very well be. As I have explained the
formula from Isaiah 9:6 applies:
He shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God (Gibor-El),
The Everlasting Father (Jor-El), The Prince of Peace (Kal-El). Gibor-
El, in the center is Gabriel, and the five of them together are
Michael, whose Divine Name is AHJH, or EHYEH, or I AM.
BTW, I am not joking about this. I believe the Superman myth is as
real as anything else in the old or new testament, if not more real.
It is, in a sense, the antidote to the evil G-D of the old testament,
whose name is JHVH.

Always remember: King Kong died for your sins!
