Is there anything left that could be considered 'sacred' in our present culture ?

Considering our culture with crotch-grabbing entertainers on early
evening TV , the illicit-sexualization of women (primarily) leading
to 1 in 4 females being sexually assaulted sometime in thier life,
the vile and foul talk often heard in a family restaurant, and
innocent/developing Americans in the womb who get broken into pieces
so they can be sucked into a nearby sink while 'mom' waits for it to
be completed at the rate of some 4,000 per day....is there anything
sacred and honorable left ? What is your idea on our current
culture : A total travesty, or, no better time for an Immoralist to be
alive ? Thanks.

In Bowling Alone: America's Declining Social Capital (Journal of
Democracy [1], January 1995, Volume 6, Number 1) Putnam surveys the
decline of "social capital" in the United States of America since
1950...

At this point I can think of two : (there are probably more.)
1. The answer (definitive) as to why there is something
(both global and local), rather than nothing.
2. Qualia.

We all participate in both of those continuously, thus we are
always in the chapel.

As to the shape of cultures or things to come, probably
all profane. And temporary.
