It depends on her political agenda. If she is a leftwad supporting
the gay agenda then outing her and harming her chances of election
would be reprehensible, while if she was a rightard opposing the
gay agenda then outing her to harm her chances of election would be
righteous. If America is going to have a gay/lesbian president, it
will be one the self-proclaimed gay community has endorsed because
he/she supports their specific agenda and not because of his/her
sexual orientation.
A heterosexual politician who spouts orthodox opinions is more likely
to receive their endorsement than an obviously gay politician who is
unlikely to generate enough public support to be elected. An open
homosexual who fails to support the leftwad gay agenda will be defeated
in favor of a heterosexual who does, and a closeted homosexual will be
rudely outed and condemned as a traitor and a hypocrite for failing to
support 100%% of the gay agenda.
