Iran Presenting An Excellent Argument for Georgism

Author: Bret Cahill

Geo exploitators stand economics on her head.

In a normal [Georgist] world you are rewarded for being a good actor.

In a geo exploitative world, you are rewarded for being a royal
screwup.

We need to start taxing fuel and rebating the money ASAP.

Georgist? "Normal"?

How do you establish norms, Bret?

Hey, give the guy a break. This time he actually defined his terms
rather than trying to slip out of debate with nebulous terms. If you
disagree, meet him head-on. It shouldn't be much of a challenge.

Normal Person: So when Georgistopia breaks out, and the
market in land is taxed away, how is the value of the land
to be taxed determined?

KKKahill: You mount a gun rack on your electric vibrating
Erectile Dysfunction-causing bicycle and ride to 7/11 to
assassinate populists.

Normal Person: But that dodges the question.

KKKahill: Look, we are a free people with free speech for
the proletariat, and you can't force us to kneel down and
pray to basic logic.

Normal Person: So would the valuation of land be totally
arbitrary then? Like your all your answers?

KKKahill: See, fundies are always trying to undermine
freedom of economic information.

Heh. Meeting Bret head-on is impossible; he won't allow it. When challenged
he repeats himself or recites one of his mantras.

Same as it is now. The city or country assessor.

Now go back to fantacizing about shooting the guy punching a hole in
your pu truck's tank to steal the fuel.

That doesn't answer the question, dipshit. _HOW_
is the value of the land to be taxed determined. After
all, when Georgisdopia breaks out, all land will have
a market value of zero, because it is being taxed at
its amortized value. Hence, no market. With no
market, there is no way to determine the value,
aside from arbitrary and capricioius bureaucratic
fiat. Reductio ad absurdum. QED. Case closed.
One more utopia shot down.

Now go back to fantacizing about guillotining the guy in the
media who isn't hyping envy 24/7. Free speech for the
gulag class.

Nutters were never known for being rational when times were good.
It's now clear this "condition" which is really based on fear and
excitin' Hollywood movies, will not improve with peak oil.
