I have never been to my forefathers' Eastern Europe nor to the
Holocaust Museum for that matter.

And I particularly have no desire to visit genocide factories, nor to
watch a hideous movie that denies that gas was utilized for mass
mudering (and apparently denies that crematoria were utlized to
destroy the evidence of murdered bodies).

Archives of millions of papers are now being opened by the Red Cross
in Germany, after approximately sixty years.

I perceive the denialists and revisionists, apparently multiplying as
time & memories go bye, should be (perversely)
acknowledged for indirect pressure to now open the archives to the
general public.

Glancing through a new Holocaust picture book at the library -- I
can't remember the name just that Speilberg had a note at the
beginning -- I realized that I was using it instead of a religion to
control my vices.

Supposing I was one of the nazis or one of the Jews -- what then?

What would I have done?

A lot of people snear at Speilberg's Shindler's List as "Holocaust
Lite" but the message is pretty thoughtful.

How far would you go, what risks would you take to protect innocent
people?
