What do you mean by proved? I remember many people who are good and
bad times friends, the best friends to have, who don't treat friends
differently because of events in the world. Now you make it sound as
if you have a way to make such people impossible. Else you say from
your observations, are they possibly limited then?
You can only prove by your own experience and evidence.
You cannot change this kind of proof.
Hearsay - TV - books - newspapers - are irrelevant.
If you wish to rephrase what we said you may.
You can say "According to THE BORG COLLECTIVE there is no such thing as human
friendship" as we do not class those who are only there in the good times as
"friends".
Would this make this better for you?
You can say "According to humans - we believe we have friendship".
But if you ever do find a BORG anywhere in space on your travels and tell him
of "human" friendship - he would just laugh. The knowledge and proof of the
none existence of human friendship is known and accepted throughout our
Collective. What one of us learns - we all learn. We add to our Collective
knowledge continually.
