How many zeros in a billion?
This is too true to be funny.
The next time you hear a politician use the
word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about
whether you want the 'politicians' spending
YOUR tax money.
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend,
but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in
one of it's releases.
A.
A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
B.
A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
C.
A billion hours ago our ancestors were
living in the Stone Age.
D.
A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.
E.

A Billion seconds ago, it was 1976, not 1959.
114,153 B.C. is a billion hours ago. That's a long time ago.
The bill for the Iraq War ............. $300 billion? $500 billion? $900 Billion
or 2.5 million refugees and homeless, and tens of thousands DEAD as a doornail?
Life's Good. :)

There are no "seconds"...only "firsts"

Value of oil in Kazakhstan? 5.2 trillion.
Not a bad investment.

Collateral damage. They would have died anyway. (My latest 'anti hero'
is Denny Crane from Boston Legal. Cap'n Kirk has evolved :-)..I can
almost hear him say that about collateral damage !!!

Will do.
Did you see the episode where he and "Alan" went salmon fishing, where
the fish were suffering from an infestation. He was told they were
referred to clingons. He was stunned "Wha did you call them", with a
marvelous look on his face.
Also recently, when he was being mobbed by a crowd of journos, he
said, as usual "Denny Crane.!!!!even used to own my own spaceship.
When American humor is good (rarely;-),its brilliant.

How many zeros in a billion?
Infinite, just as there are an infinite number of zeros in 1.
