How many Dimensions Universe has?

I have read about 4 dimensions 3 for Space and 1 Time.

But String theory says Universe has 8-10 Dimensions.

Can you name the other dimensions?

Just like we can traverse through space and time can we move arround
in those 8-10 dimensions proposed by String Theory?

When an electron is revolving arround nucleus does it travels in other
dimensions aswell? We say in resonance an electron can be at 2 places.
Does electron goes into other 8-10 dimensions of Universe.

If Universe has 8-10 dimension. Can we see the stars in other
Dimensions?

For Example One dimension is Time. We can only see those things which
are occuring in current time We cant see things that will happen in
future and things that have happend in past unless we have recorded
them.

Similarly can we see things in other 8-10 dimensions of Universe?

Is String Theory prooved by Experiments?

Bye

4 to 6 more dimensions of String theory...
Here they are.

1: Stupidity dimension
2: Brainwashed dimension
3: Ignorance dimension
4: Religious Spacetime dimension.

5 and 6 are simply combinations of the above.

Sleepy, Sneezy, Happy, Grumpy, Dopey, Bashful, and Doc. Or was it Fili,
Kili, Dwalin, Balin, Oin, Gloin, Ori, Dori, Nori, Bifur, Bofur, and
Bombur?

You didn't read very far into the articles that discuss string theory.
There's something odd about those dimensions: they're curled up very
small, so small we don't notice them.

Lust, Envy, Sloth, Gluttony, Wrath, Greed, and Pride.
Er, wait, that's 11 dimensions. I think Sloth lays waste
to Time though, so that explains that.

Actually see stars through other dimensions: Red shift is caused by
the geometry of other dimensions. See:

Yes, but we can "see" the most probable future. And all higher
dimensions appear to us in our 3D space manifested as time.

===========================
It began in 1905 when Einstein created SRT,
(theory of photon/electron’s behaviour).
Minkowski, tried to understand SRT using 4D space.
Poor young Einstein, reading Minkowski...

Um, 11 is more popular.

No.

Nope, but the graviton might.

The analogy used is a tightrope. At a distance the rope appears to be
a line without thickness. But to an ant crawling on the rope, it has
thickness.

Those extra dimensions, if they exist, are compact. See

No names given that I am aware of, but they define the "range of
motion" of a property that cannot be degenerated into some linear
combination of fewer dimensions. I would guess one of those
dimensions describes "spin".

No. Light does not travel through those dimensions, so neither can
we.

Maybe in string theory, but I doubt that.

They're spacelike. But you probably don't know what that means.
> Just like we can traverse through space and time can we move arround

Yes, but only if you shrink yourself down to an unimaginably small
size. They're supposedly compactified to an extremely small size.

Presumably.
>We say in resonance an electron can be at 2 places.

The wave function of a particle is defined just about everywhere. So
I don't understand what you are getting at.
