How is Christopher Reeve a hero?

Christopher Reeve supported stem cell research which is the brutal
scientific murder and manipulation of innocent lives and he tried to
claim he saved lives in the process of destroying them. Michael J.
Fox followed suit. Pope John Paul II had the same life threatening
disease (Parkinson's) and did not sell out because of it.

Because suffering is just God's way of telling you
life ain't a party all the time.

So he chose to suffer and die? The truth is God couldn't save him...
but he could've saved himself.

A few predessesors ago, the Pope took sides with the Nazis, and in
fact they would nt have come into power if the church had have come
out against them.

I would have thought the pope of all people would have welcomed 'the
pearly gates'.

Ever had a two way conversation on that or any other issue, or are you
demonstrating the second hand experience syndrome?

Now, is a fetus a human being? This seems to be the central question.
Well, if a fetus is a human being, how come the census doesn't count
them? If a fetus is a human being, how come when there's a miscarriage
they don't have a funeral? If a fetus is a human being, how come
people say "we have two children and one on the way" instead of saying
"we have three children?" People say life begins at conception, I say
life began about a billion years ago and it's a continuous process.
Continuous, just keeps rolling along. Rolling, rolling, rolling
along...

...Fertilization, when the sperm fertilizes the egg. Which is usually
a few moments after the man says "Gee, honey, I was going to pull out
but the phone rang and it startled me." Fertilization.

The cruelty of perpetuating the sufferings of actual human beings is
perverse, regressive religious belief.

The blocking of stem cell research is literally the furthering of pain
and misery.

The wealthy have no problems going offshore for state of the art
medical treatments.

Bush has seemingly set U.S.stem cell research back at least 8 years.

I personally did not vote for the ignorant fool twice, sensing he
isn't suitable for the responsibilities.

Many Bush II voters are apparently regretting their folly, while
those whom are desperately needing cures feel much worse than regret
